SatSpanks# Western Style

SatSpanks# goes west with

The Juniper Bride
Release date: June 7

Emmalee Gray watches in frustration as her fiancé, Clinton Ryan, boards a train heading west. Told to stay behind and prepare for their wedding as Clint embarks on a mysterious errand, Em has other ideas. She doesn’t want to remain home without him, especially with her witch of a stepmother and a father who barely knows she exists. She’d much rather risk Clint’s wrath and follow him, planning to stay hidden until she gets so far away from Boston he wouldn’t dare send her back alone. Then she can enjoy some private time and maybe a little adventure with her gorgeous fiancé, in advance of their nuptials.

Unfortunately, Emmalee is a magnet for trouble and finds herself in one scrape after another. To keep her safe, Clint lays down the law: obey his orders or suffer the consequences over his knee.

Can they make it to their destination in one piece? When they do, and Clint’s past is revealed, how will Emmalee react, and will she ever find out why people keep calling her a "juniper bride?" With danger and intrigue swirling around them at every turn, can their passionate love survive?

“This argument is tedious, Emmalee, and I intend to end it now.”

Without hesitation, he’d turned her over his knee, and to her horror, spanked her bottom right there in the front parlor. It hadn’t hurt; she’d been wearing layers of skirts, petticoats and a bustle at the time. Even then, she had smirked at how much it had frustrated him as she listened to his grumbling about cages and women’s frippery. It served him right.

The ignominy of the situation was what had truly bothered Emmalee. Taking place right after dinner, her father and stepmother were at home, not to mention their housekeeper who had yet to leave for the day. They had to have heard every smack, not to mention her squealing response.

Getting Naughty with Tara Finnegan on Wicked Wanton Wednesday

I'm excited to welcome guest author
Tara Finnegan
to Wicked Wanton Wednesday

After our interview, I knew she was my kind of GF, not only because she is Irish (she actually lives in the land of saints and scholars, my blessed Nana would definitely approve.) but because she admits to preferring her fiction on the very naughty end of the spectrum.

Naughty... Wicked, that's tomato and to-mah-to in my book.

Any who...  Tara is here to shamelessly promote her newest book, one in the popular Corbin's Bend series.  So without further adieu, lets see what bit of naughtiness Tara has brought for us today.

Exile to Unity, Corbin’s Bend Book Three

When their preference for BDSM becomes embarrassingly public, Angela and Jim O’Brien decide to start afresh in Corbin’s Bend, a community based on a common ethos of spanking, a place where Ange hopes they can belong.
Ange soon learns that in this new environment,  Jim is not beyond chastising her with a good sound spanking as the couple face their past demons and try to recover the closeness they once shared.  New challenges soon face the couple.  Will their difficulties destroy them or can their move be what Ange initially hoped for, an exile to unity?
 Extract

The cross examination forced Ange to relive every detail of that fateful evening. She’d been forced to give details of how he had caught her unaware, cuffing her as soon as she had climbed into the bed, How she knew even then that she should have stopped him, but it had driven her wild. That he still wanted to fuck her despite her almost eight month swollen belly had aroused her like hell; she couldn’t get over the fact that her roundness and her fertility was a major turn on for him, but while not understanding it, she was only too happy to reap the benefits.

In her mind’s eye, she recalled how Jim had lifted her legs in the air and was paddling her backside. Her juices were trickling down the crack in her behind. It wasn’t until much later that she read of the risks of spanking during pregnancy, or indeed did any reading on their kinky preferences. With the position she was in, she had thought there was no danger of him hitting her too high up, her lower ass and thighs were getting the brunt of it, and she hadn’t been unduly concerned. The biggest difficulty was holding her legs like that with her neat but round bump causing an obstacle. She remembered quashing any nagging doubts because it was too fucking hot to call a halt, and how he’d had to stop paddling her pretty quickly as she just couldn’t hold her position.

It wasn’t until he sucked and nipped her nipples that she started to notice the tightening in her uterus, but she’d put it down to Braxton Hicks contractions. She’d had a lot of those with Ava. Then he’d clamped them and it felt so good, especially when he pulled on the clamp, stretching and elongating nipples already ripe and sensitive with pregnancy.

Maddie’s Intimate Authors Corner Questions.

MT:  So Tara, a lot of authors draw on life experience for their stories others use pure fantasy. How same/different are you from your main character?

TF: Well, let me see – so far all of my main female characters have been Irish – check

They’re all independent, feisty, strong-willed - check

All spankos – check.

Apart from that no, there’s no resemblance! Actually, I would say all my characters often incorporate characteristics of many people I know, a bit of this person and a bit of that person, there is rarely one character totally modeled on one individual, but even as I write a certain trait, I picture that particular person that I am “borrowing” it from in my mind.

MT: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

TF: In Exile to Unity there is a message that I think is worth pondering over. Sometimes marriage is very tough, and it’s all too easy to watch it slip away through non communication, impatience and lack of understanding of one another. It’s like everything, it takes work, sometimes a lot of work, other times it just slides along well-oiled tracks and the labour is effortless, and the married dance is seemingly flawless. But you have to take the rough with the smooth. Unfortunately, life isn’t always like a romance novel, and we need to remember that.

Another factor is depression. You’re a nurse, I am sure you’ve seen the effect of depression so many times that to you it’s just normal. But for Joe Blogs and Jane Doe, it’s something to be hidden, brushed under the carpet, if you like. And yet, I doubt there is a single soul that depression doesn’t touch in some way, if not personally, then a relative, a friend, or a friend of a friend. Exile to Unity touches on post natal depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Why? Because I wrote it in winter. Winter in Ireland means a lot of darkness. The shortest daylight hours are about seven and a half hours, couple that with grey clouds that are so low you can almost reach out and touch them, and constant rain, and there is no sunlight for days. Seasonal Affected Disorder is a huge factor here. Our natural instinct is to shy away from human weakness, especially what can loosely be classed as “mental disorders” and yet they touch the lives of so many of us.  I like to write what is real, even if real isn’t always fashionable.

MT: This is a sensitive subject for me because I work as a psych/mental health nurse for twelve years so I have seen a lot. That is why you’ll also see themes on these topics in my books. I don’t know about Ireland, but 1 in 4 Americans have some kind of mental illness.  Even though it is common place like heart disease or diabetes, since it is something that you can really measure or put a number on like you cholesterol level, some people think it’s not a “real illness.” The stigma of mental illness continues which is such a shame.  You wouldn’t tell a person with high blood pressure to just snap out of it.

MT: What advice would you give to aspiring writers?

TF: LOL, the best advice I could offer is to ask someone more efficient than me!

MT: Here are some fun questions   What are you reading right now?

TF: Nothing! I don’t tend to read mid-week. But on Friday night I read The Firefighters Girl by Natasha Knight and on Saturday I read Chasing Chelsea, by Maren Smith. Both are writers I really admire. I was like Winnie the Pooh, I didn’t mean to read Chasing Chelsea all day Saturday, I just intended to taste it, but I didn’t move my butt off the chair until I had read every last word. LOL at six pm I realized I hadn’t even put the chicken in the oven. Thank God there is no DD in this house or my ass would have been toast.

MT: As an author, I imagine you are also an avid reader. What is your favorite genre?:

TF: Erotica and Spanking Fiction is obviously way up there, and I confess, I prefer it on the very naughty end of the spectrum.

I also love thrillers, mysteries, also unusual fiction; something I haven’t seen tackled before always gets my interest. I have a real fondness for some of the lighter classics too, Jane Austen, Anthony Trollope. I find very old English( eg Francis Bacon ) too tedious though. Too much like school.

MT: What is the trait or characteristic you find most appealing about your significant other?

TF: Not fair, can’t pick one as there are many, many traits I really appreciate about him. Perhaps his ability to make me laugh even when I am cross, is one of the best though.

MT: Biggest guilty pleasure, for which you are willing to risk all (or some) to get…

TF: Fill the bath chock full of really hot water and bubbles. Grab a glass of red wine and whatever book I am reading. Lock the door and soak for at least an hour, topping up the hot water a minimum of twice. It’s the most relaxing thing in the world. Sounds simple I know, but not always that easy as I usually get shouted at by at least one of the children with an urgent need that just can’t wait. Grrrr.
Thanks for spending some time with me today, Tara.  It was fun!

Join me next week when my guest will be new author Melody Parks.  See you then...

Torrid Tantalizing Tuesday Welcomes Kallista Dane

Welcome to another sizzling edition of
Torrid Tantalizing Tuesday.

I am happy to have a first time guest on my blog today!
Please welcome,  Kallista Dane.

In her own words, if you're seeking chronicles of maidenly virtue and innocent romance, go no further.

But if you yearn to be entertained with exotic escapades that will fill your soul with passion, sensual tales of lustful desires, bold adventures where powerful males clash with impetuous, headstrong women, then I invite you to enter my world.

Captured by the Sultan by Kallista Dane

Shortly after Dr. Shayla Dennison uncovers a trove of sexually explicit statues in a long-buried temple deep in the desert, she is knocked unconscious during a ferocious storm. When she awakens in what seems to be the distant past, being hailed by those around her as the great Queen of Sheba, the shy scholar finds herself expected to play the lead role in a highly erotic ceremony witnessed by the entire kingdom the night before she travels to meet the man chosen as her husband.

When her caravan is attacked during the journey, Shay is rescued by Tahraz, the arrogant sultan of a hidden oasis, who promptly announces that she will submit to his every command or face punishment like all the other women of his harem. Shay discovers all too soon that Tahraz is as good as his word and she quickly ends up across his lap, her royal robes pulled up and his rough palm reddening her bare bottom.

Hatching a plan to win her freedom, Shay proposes a contest—a series of chess matches—with herself as the prize. If she is the winner, the sultan will grant her freedom, but if he triumphs, Shay will kneel before him as he administers pain—or pleasure—at his whim. But when Shay realizes that she is in love with Tahraz, will she continue to resist or will she give in to the savage hunger he has ignited in her and surrender her body and her heart to him fully?

Tahraz raised his head and met Shay’s eyes. “You will lie across my lap—as you did before.”

Shay’s stomach clenched. Tahraz seemed intent on extending her humiliation.  He took his time, slowly pulling the cumbersome robes above her knees. Then he began striking her, first on one cheek, then the other.

She forced herself to lie still. But when his fingers slid down between her legs, spreading her apart even further, she couldn’t stifle a gasp. Tahraz stopped. “You are all dismissed,” he said casually, waving a hand toward the other women.

“Now, my haughty queen, your punishment will begin.”

A stab of fear went through her. How much worse could it be? Her question was answered instantly when his hand came down again. She cried out involuntarily, then clamped her lips together, vowing not to make another sound.  The sultan thrashed her slowly, reddening every inch of her backside with a palm calloused from hours spent handling the reins of a half-wild stallion.

She felt his hand urging her legs apart even further. She thought he would once again dip his fingers into her moist depths, as he had the first time. But to her shock, an insistent finger began probing the tight opening of her ass.

It penetrated her easily and Shay realized he must have coated his hand with some kind of oil. He began sliding his finger in and out, teasing, rubbing his thumb against her clit at the same time.  Her ass was burning, but it only intensified the other sensations he was arousing.

“There are many ways to punish a naughty queen,” he said, his voice low. He slid his finger deeper into her ass and despite herself, Shay writhed on his lap.

 Maddie's Intimate Authors Corner

MT: Welcome, Kallista.  Thanks for joining me today. I love have first time guests in my authors corner.  It’s fun to find out what makes them tick.

KD: Hi Maddie.  Thanks so much for having me as a guest today.

MT: My pleasure. Here’s my first question. How much of your books are realistic, based on your own personal experiences?

KD: If I answered that honestly, I’d make both of us blush!

MT:  Uh-uh, can’t happen. LOL

KD:  Seriously, big chunks of every book I write are taken straight from my life – and I’m not talking only about the sex (although those are my favorite parts!)  Whatever I’m doing or have done in real life seems to make its way into the lives of my characters.  Whether it’s a paranormal encounter like the time I met a ghost in Dallas, which is the basis for my current work in progress, The Devil’s Cowboy, or working on an archaeological dig like Dr. Shayla did in my latest release Captured by the Sultan, my characters and I share many experiences.

MT: Since you draw from real life, is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

KD: I believe that love never dies, that it lives on and if we’re lucky, we’ll experience it over and over here on Earth with the person who is our Soul Mate.  Years ago, I went to a psychic who told me that my husband and I have been together before, over many lifetimes.  Ever since, I’ve paid attention to those fleeting moments when a strange place seems oddly familiar or an ancient statue in a museum calls to me.  That inspired me to write Captured By the Sultan, where Shayla and Tahraz discover they have an unbreakable bond that endures through time.

MT: How romantic! I love the whole idea of soul mates, meant to be’s and finding “the one”. And to have a love that last many lifetimes, sigh…  I am clichéd and corny at times, but most of all a hopeless romantic.

MT: What are you reading right now?

KD: I’m in the middle of two books – Patricia Green’s new Romantek story Eddie My Love with plenty of spanking scenes and a book called The Next Hundred Years by George Friedman, head of a global intelligence firm.  It’s a fascinating nonfiction look at where our country and our world are headed.

MT: What is the trait or characteristic you find most appealing about your significant other?

KD: When we first started dating, he said I could stand to gain ten pounds.  That’s when I decided this was the man for me!  On a more serious note, I recently read a Facebook post from one of our authors whose spouse was horrified to discover her loved one was leading a secret life writing erotic spanking novels.  My heart aches for him.  My husband may not share all of my fetishes, but he loves me and accepts everything about me.  I don’t have to hide my naughtiest fantasies from him and he’s always done his best to see that they come true.  Lucky me!

MT: Does he/she read your work?  Either way, why or why not?

KD: My husband hates to read so he’s only made it through one of my books.  But he really doesn’t need to since most of them are inspired either by the wild things we’ve done or by the dirty fantasies he turns me on with on our “party” nights.

MT: Ah… so this is that real life inspiration you were talking about.  Nice!  He sounds like my husband who kept bugging me to read my work, but even though I had cops and military men with guns, shootings, kidnappings and the whole nine yards, he couldn’t do it.  Now he reads my reviews.  If I get a bad one, he gets ticked and tells me they misspelled words in their reviews, LOL.  So nice to have unconditional support!

MT: Do you have a spanking memory you’d like to share?

KD: It took me a long time to be comfortable enough about what I looked upon as my shameful lifelong desire to be spanked to confess it to my husband.  He listened, then said he wasn’t into spanking, had never even thought about doing it.  A few weeks later, we had a huge argument and I stomped out of our room, slamming the door.  He followed me into the living room, bent me over the couch, yanked my jeans and panties down and proceeded to give me my first real spanking, followed by some of the hottest sex we ever had.  I fell in love with him all over again that night.

MT: You two sound very sweet and loving. Ironic after an angry spank during a fight, but hey, what can I say, us spankos are twisted that way.  LOL

Thanks so much for playing along today and telling us some personal information about you and your writing.  I know the readers love it.

Dinah McLeod Delivers Some OTK Swift Justice Style on Wicked Wanton Wednesday

Dinah McLeod, a frequent visitor on my blog due to the way she cranks out one spanking romance after another.  Well, if she keeps writing them, I'll keep posting them.  Today, she brings us a blast from the past, the old western past (Yeehaa!) with her newest; Maggie Meets Her Match.

As you can see by The Duke's example here from McClintock, there ain't nothing like a rough and tumble cowpoke taking his woman over his knee for a branding of good old-fashioned western discipline.

Sigh...

Maggie Meets Her Match

Blurb:

Nineteen-year-old Maggie Swift is excitedly making wedding plans when her beau Joshua breaks her heart. Devastated and determined never to trust a man again, Maggie is convinced she'll live out her life as an old maid... until ruggedly-handsome Clay Callahan comes riding into her life and sweeps her off her feet. She quickly discovers that though he is more than ready to take his strap to her bare bottom when she gets out of line, being Clay's wife is pure heaven. Their love and passion grow by leaps and bounds, and soon Maggie is with child.

When tragedy strikes and it seems Maggie's anguish will consume her entirely, try as she might to push him away, Clay proves that he is determined to do whatever is necessary to bring back his beautiful, sassy bride. Just as her heart begins to heal, however, a figure from her past suddenly reappears and reopens old wounds. Can Maggie put aside her fears and trust that with Clay at her side, they can weather any storm, or will the ghosts of her past rip apart their love?

A triple threat excerpt for your spanking enjoyment...

His next words confirmed my fears. “Since you three got into this mess together and saw fit to make us look like fools, it only seems fittin’ that we treat you to a dose of your own medicine.”

As he’d been speaking, Wesley had been moving chairs from the table into the parlor. The sinking feeling in my stomach worsened as I took in the three chairs lined up next to one another.

When he was done, he stood in front of the chair on the left and crooked his finger at his wife. “Libby, come here,” he called out when she still didn’t move.

Even though I was still quite angry, I couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for her. I didn’t know that I’d ever heard him sound so irate.

Libby must have known it, too, because she lost some of her color as she stood to her feet to make the walk to where her husband stood. The moment she reached his side, he sat down and patted his knee. As she went over his lap, I winced and looked away. They couldn’t mean to make us watch, could they?

But that seemed to be exactly what the men had in mind, because Wes flipped up her skirts, revealing her drawers. I heard her muffled protest, to which he paid no mind. Even though I’d turned my eyes back to the floor—though Lord knows they seemed prone to wandering back to the spectacle in front of me—I could still hear the sound of his hand smacking her backside. Every time his palm collided with the seat of her drawers, I found myself wincing and even more aware that soon, it would be my turn. Soon, I would be getting spanked in front of my sisters-in-law. It was worse than the waiting, worse than the spanking itself, knowing they’d be hearing every moan of pain.

“Alright, Abby. Your turn.”

I looked to my left and saw her standing. She seemed to feel my eyes on her and gave me a small, trembling smile before walking over to where Trent sat. If listening to Libby get her spanking was hard, watching Abby walk toward hers was almost unbearable. We never should have put her in the middle of our squabble. “Trent, wait!” I called out. Both he and Abby looked at me. “Please, it wasn’t her fault. Libby and I, we were the ones fussin’. Abby was just tryin’ to get us to stop. She doesn’t deserve to be spanked for our mistake.”

“Well, I appreciate you sayin’ so, Mags, but I heard her yellin’ along with the two of you just a few minutes ago. Over my knee, darlin’.”

Soon, Trent was spankin’ Abby’s drawers, matching the pace Wes had set. The room reverberated with the sounds of their spankings—Libby had begun to cry out with each hearty smack—and I couldn’t help but wonder when my time would come. I almost wished it would, so it could be over with. I raised my eyes to look at Clay, who I found looking right back at me. His expression was unbearably stern and now that he’d caught my eye, I couldn’t look away. He held my eyes and saw every grimace as I listened to the pair of them get spanked.

Finally, he took mercy on me—what a funny thing to call it!—and walked toward the last chair. I was on my feet before he had a chance to call me over and put myself over his lap without a word, grateful to avoid those severe brown eyes. I could hardly bear it when he was angry with me, even though I knew he had a right to be.

Even though I’d been expecting it, I still wiggled on his lap when I felt him lift my skirts. And then he did something neither of my brothers had done—he untied my drawers and slid them open, revealing my bared backside to the cool, crisp air in the room and anyone who cared to glance over.

“But Clay—”

“Shush. You’ve done let that mouth of yours run away with you today, don’t make matters worse.”

I didn’t see how I possibly could, but I dutifully shut my mouth.

“Besides which, since your brothers have had a head start, I figure this way, things’ll even out.”

From the very first swat, he had me crying out, though whether it was from the pain or embarrassment, I couldn’t rightly say. He spanked too fast for me to even get settled properly over his lap. Every swat landed fast and hard, and I jostled with the impact of them.

“Stay still,” he growled, having to reposition me once again. When he began anew, his palm stung my bottom even more than before.

I could feel my cheeks warming under the attack of his hard hand and I was sure that I was blushing just as hot. Though I’d known for some time that Wesley spanked his wife, I’d never thought to see it for myself! And Abby, poor Abby—if her bottom felt anything like mine did right now, I didn’t know how I’d forgive myself. We never should have let her be dragged into our fight.

A hard spank landed on my upper thigh and I cried out in surprise. Clay sure did have a mean spanking hand. He wasn’t letting up even a bit as he rained spank after spank down on my tender bottom. In no time, the tears came, coursing down my cheeks as I sniffled over his lap. Even then, he didn’t slow down. I began to wonder if he ever would.

Dinah has been her at least three times before, so she has had her share of probing, intimate questions.  I might have tapped her for TMI in posts past.  So I asked her question about her work, ones that as a friend, I wanted to know.
Here's what she told me...

MT: Your first books were contemporary, what made you decide to write a historical, and why the American west?
DM: A friend of mine was helping me brainstorm ideas and we came up with the concept of an unmarried woman nearing thirty—which, in the Old West was a problem! We discussed her living with her sisters-in-law, who would perhaps look down on an “old maid”. My imagination took off from there and I’ve been hooked ever since!
MT: What do you find is the most challenging thing about being an author, especially an author of spanking romance?
DM: For me, the biggest challenge is providing enough spankings to sate readers, yet also making them realistic. I don’t want it to ever be said that I have my characters spanked for no reason—unless they’re like me, that is, and they like it like that!
MT: What genre would you like to try next?
DM: I’m going to explore writing a Regency or something along those lines very soon.
MT: What are you working on now, or what's next for you?
DM:  I am working on book 3 of the Old Fashioned Husband’s series, as well as a sequel to my book “Love Hurts” and my new pet project: a law thriller! I’m excited about each of them!
Thanks for having me today, Maddie!

MT:  No, thank you, Dinah, for being on.  Come back with your next one.

Next week, I believe I am open date!  Seriously???  That cannot be.  I must have forgotten someone.  If I have, please let me know.  If not, join me on June 4th when first time blog guests and new erotica author Melody Parks is my guest.  Join us, won't you?

Thianna D. Delivers and Scorches on Wicked Wanton Wednesday

Thianna D gets Wicked and Wanton today with a steamy excerpt from her newest release; Finding Their Bliss from the Corbin's Bend series.

A first time visitor to my blog, when I asked for a panty melting excerpt, she delivered.  That's my kind of guest!

 Finding Their Bliss – Blurb
Brent Carmichael loved Corbin's Bend. A small community at the base of the Rocky Mountains just for spankophiles, he worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and that the residents were safe and happy. He never intended to fall in love, but when Charmagne Kendle stumbled into his life, he found an attraction he had no intention of fighting.
Char moved to Corbin's Bend after losing her job, her apartment, and her fiancé all in one day. She had no idea she was actually moving to a spanking community, but with the freedom to explore her secret fetish, she found herself happily upended over Brent's lap.
As their relationship deepened into domestic discipline, her ex appeared wanting her back. Now she had to choose. The rich, handsome, and charming Nathan Korven or former police officer Brent Carmichael. To find her bliss, there was really only one choice.

Finding Their Bliss – Excerpt (You did ask for scorching if I do recall…)
When his hands lightly grasped her waist, holding her in place, his lips began to trail up her spine, kissing and licking each ridge.

“So beautiful,” he murmured as he kept going, slowly lifting her upper body up the higher he went until she was standing straight, and he nibbled on her neck. Her only warning was the feel of his fingers on her back before her bra released and he tipped the straps over her shoulders. The bra fell to the ground, she was pretty sure, but she forgot about it as his hands took each of her globes in his hands and squeezed lightly.

“Yes,” she murmured as he pulled her back against him.

“Warm,” he whispered, “and the perfect handful.” His fingers closed in on her nipples, the surprising sensation making her knees give out. Swinging her up in his arms again, he deposited her on the bed. Then he began to undo the buttons on his shirt. Not once did he turn away, his eyes hungrily taking in her body as he slowly undressed.

This could not be real. Her entire body zinged like a live wire. Not once in her rather unremarkable sex life had she ever felt like this. If he didn’t get undressed and inside her soon, she might cum just from watching him. When he was down to his underwear, his eyes caught hers and, with a single movement, the boxers dropped and she could not resist. Her eyes dropped to… Oh! My! God!

There was surely no way in heaven or earth he was going to fit, not that she cared at the moment. Her itch needed scratching, and the monster between his legs had to be the key. “Holy shit! You’re huge.”

He flashed her a smile. “Why, thank you.”

Blushing a little, she lifted up her hips and pushed her panties down to her ankles. As she went to flick them away with her left foot, he reached out and stopped her. “Don’t. I have an idea.”

At this moment, she would accept any idea except for stopping. He put her panties on both ankles and then tied them so that the bases of her feet met, and once he pushed her knees apart and down, he had a clear view of her center. Instinctively, she tried to bring her knees back together, but he stopped her. “No, let me look.”

He didn't just look. Climbing onto the bed, he slid his legs between hers and under her feet, moving down to where her feet rested on his back, and his tongue… oh, his tongue did wondrous things. Starting at her core, he placed the flat of his tongue against her and dragged it upward, flicking her clitoris at the top.

I've divided my interview into serious stuff and fun stuff.  We'll get to the meat first, then the dessert will follow.  Here goes...

Serious author stuff:
MT: Thianna, How much of your books are realistic, based on your own personal experiences?
TD:  I have been active in the BDSM lifestyle for almost fourteen years, so anything kink related can be considered relatively realistic. Also, in each book of at least novella length, I usually include a scene of some sort that comes from my own life. So yes, my books are mostly based on a reality concept. But it’s the fantasy that people wish to embrace.
Like my newest book Finding Their Bliss. It is set in a fictitious community where everyone is a spanko. Not in reality, but I do admit I wish it was. I’d live there. :)
MT:  How same/different are you from your main character?
TD: Charmagne and I have a lot of similarities. We’re both writers, we both like spanking, and we both tend to lash out when we’re tired, cranky, or in pain. And our greatest similarity? Our innate ability to try and push a really good guy away without realizing what we’re doing. Of course, in Char’s case, I also gave her the gumption to go after what she wanted once she realized she truly liked Brent.
I wish I had her courage. :)
MT:  Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
TD:  In all of my books, at least one character is nervous about admitting to one part of themselves. In Finding Their Bliss, Char doesn’t want anyone to know she wants to be spanked.
Until I was thirty, I hid most of who I was. When I learned to be more open about my wants, needs, desires, etc, I found a freedom and a part of myself I didn’t even know was there. So I am hoping my readers realize it is always best to be who they are. Ignore the naysayers. Be you – because that is who you were meant to be.
MT:  What advice would you give to aspiring writers?
TD:  If you want to be a writer, write. Don’t let anything get in your way. Write day, night, weekend, on vacations. Have a tablet or electronic tablet nearby and when an idea hits you, get it down. Oh, and also? When you want to submit a book to a publisher, read it,  have someone you trust read it, and edit it to the best of your ability. Then? Submit it. Get passed your fears and just go for it. If you wait until you absolutely know everything’s perfect? It will never get submitted.
To quote a well-known shoe company: Just do it!

Fun Stuff:
MT:  If you could be a tree, what kind would you be?  HA…. Just kidding, but here are a few quickie get to know you questions.
TD: Well, since you asked… *grin* I’ve always had a fascination with the Dryads and the Nyads, so yes…that’s the kind of tree I would be. It would be fun to drift in my spirit form at night, dancing in amongst fellow dryads and nyads, free from human constraints.

MT:  OMG, Thianna, you are the first guest to have ever answered that questions.  I love it!!!!
What are you reading right now?
TD:  I’m always reading two or three things at the same time. For instance, currently I’m reading The Bride by Julie Garwood, the Falls Chance Ranch DD series (for the umpteenth time) by Rolf & Ranger, and studying The Game of Life (And How to Play It) by Florence Scovel Shinn.

MT:  Love Julie Garwood.  One of the authors who got me hooked on romance, along with Katherine Woodiwiss and Johanna Lindsey (she wrote spankings, naughty girl!, no wonder I love her).
What is your favorite genre?
TD:  I don’t think I have a favorite genre, to be honest. I enjoy reading romance, fantasy, chick-lit, light sci-fi, and have a fondness for Highlander novels with strong men in kilts. *grins* Any book I enjoy will have to have humor. If the book is negative I will stop reading it relatively quickly.
MT:  What is the trait or characteristic you find most appealing about your significant other?
TD:  I’m currently single so have no significant other. *sigh* I miss having that dominant man I can lean on around.
MT:  Maybe this post will spark an interest in a special someone, fingers crossed...
What is your favorite spanking/BDSM position and implement.
TD:  I don’t think I have a favorite position for an erotic spanking – they’re all good. Though it is best to have both my hands and feet tied down as my body reacts in all sorts of strange ways. For discipline? Umm, I plead the fifth? *grins* For all I know my future SO may read this at some point in time. I don’t want to give him any ideas. ;)
As for spanking implement – my favorite has to be a leather slapper. OMG I love that thing.
MT:  Ah... an auditory spanko, the sound of the slapper makes it so much more intense, even if it's not.  :D
Thank you so much, Thianna, for stopping by today.  Please come back and share more in the future.  Always welcome...  To learn more about my guest author check out her bio below and follow her on FB and her website below.
