Dungeon Crawl - brings us a brand new BDSM blog hop. I'm so freakin' excited!

Mm Mm Mm, A BDSM dedicated blog hop...

What a naughty idea.  I love it!

For my inaugural post, I'm bring you a lovely little excerpt from the latest in my Decadence series, Master My Love.  It could be titled Masters and Leashes and Cages, oh my!  Enjoy!!!

The Blurb:

When a mysterious invitation to a new BDSM club arrives in Valerie Thornton's mailbox, she sees it as a fateful intervention.  She has long suppressed he desire for a strong man who can nurture her inner-most desires and bring the submissive inside her to life.  Now widowed with an empty nest, she's alone, unfulfilled and wondering what she's been missing.

Walking into the most exclusive club in LA all alone, Valerie almost loses her nerve, but the testosterone-filled atmosphere is pure temptation.  Each dominant man she sees is sexier and more handsome than the last.  When she meets intimidating Eric Dupree, the Master Dom takes her breath away.  He seems perfect for her and Val knows he could bring her secret fantasies to life.  She's ready to throw herself at his feet, but refrains.  How could he possibly be interested in a forty-year-old BDSM novice like herself?

As managing partner and Rossi CFO, Eric should be thrilled.  Club Decadence LA is successful and Rossi is growing by leaps and bounds.  But as he approaches middle age, he finds that he needs more than his career and bachelor lifestyle can give him.  In walks Valerie Thornton, an innocent to his world.  What has brought her to his club, of all places, and why can't he get her out of his mind?

Her tinkling laughter escaped and encompassed him.  He noticed several other members heard and turned to look, charmed as well.  She seemed classy and refined, although the leather outfit was all wrong for her.  His phone buzzed, a problem somewhere he was sure.  Checking the screen, he frowned and signaled to Samson.
“I’m sorry, Valerie.  I need to attend to a problem.”  Samson stepped up then and Eric nodded toward her.  “Samson will watch you while I attend to an issue in the playroom.”
“I’m swamped, boss.  Terry called in and Marcia is late.  It’s just me back here.  I’m afraid I couldn’t give her all my attention.”  He gave her a once over, then turned to look behind the bar.  “She’s little; my naughty slave cage is empty.  I could put her in there in a pinch.”
Val’s cry of alarm and her hands flying to her mouth in shock prompted Eric’s eye roll… newbies.  The least little thing petrified them.  Being naked, restrained to a cross, and flailed with a flogger often didn’t faze them, but in a gilded cage, safe and secure while their Master attended to business seemed beyond the pale.  Go figure.
“Never mind, this is her first night and she’s skittish.  I’ll put the reins on her and bring her with me.”  Eric pulled the length of chain from his pocket and clipped it to her collar.  She gave a small whimper of alarm.  With a little tug, he brought her down from her stool.
“You know the rule, subbie.  Unattached guest subs have to be tethered in the play areas.  It’s for safety, especially in your case.  We can’t risk you wandering off and freaking out.”
“It makes me feel so…”  She searched for the right word.
“Submissive?” Eric supplied.
“Yes, Sir.”
“Good, that’s exactly as intended.  Shall we go?”

Thanks for hopping by, don't forget to crawl to the other dungeon's for more wickedness...

Wicked Wanton Wednesday Gets Warm and Fuzzy with Peaches, Jaye Peaches That Is...

Welcome to my guest author, Jaye Peaches.  Jaye writes enticingly kinky erotic BDSM stories with a thrilling edge.

Today, Taught to Serve is in the spotlight.  There is something scintillating about an office romance.  Jaye kicks it up a notch with some D/s kink.

She brought along a wicked excerpt, too.  You've heard of texting, then there's sexting.  Jaye brings a delightfully naughty new twist by adding self-spanking.  So what do we call that?  Spexting???

Taught to Serve Blurb:
Though she is both beautiful and intelligent, Casey has bounced from one job to another as a result of her failure to truly apply herself. As she sits on a park bench crying after yet another dismissal, things show no sign of changing anytime soon… until a passing stranger sees the tears in her eyes and comes to her rescue. The handsome, smartly dressed man by the name of Robert informs her that he is in need of a personal assistant and she might be a good fit.

Casey soon learns that her new boss will be a demanding one, and insufficient attention to detail will earn her a trip over his knee for a bare bottom spanking. To her surprise, Rob’s firm discipline only increases her attraction to him, and their relationship quickly grows into a passionate romance. She finds that Rob can be just as firm a boyfriend as he is a boss, but even as he teaches her to submit to him completely he also shows her pleasure—and love—beyond anything she has known before.

Excerpt:
Barely a word was spoken over breakfast, and Casey hunkered down in her little room, anticipating it would be a long day. Busy with an email, she heard her mobile beep noisily on the desk. She was puzzled to find the text was from Rob, who was barely a few metres away in the neighbouring study.

Take off your bra.

Casey had chosen to wear a skimpy dress for the day. The weather remained warm, though not as hot as the previous day. Drumming her fingers on the desk, she thought it best to do as he asked. With much wriggling and shifting around of her dress, she removed her bra and returned the dress to its correct position. Her fingers tapped away on the keyboard until she heard another beep.

Bend over your desk.

It was happening. The tiny electric current which ran from his study to her little room had been plugged in, and she did not hesitate this time to do as he asked. Keeping the mobile in reach, she bent over the desk, making sure her bottom faced the door. The skirt was short and rose up to reveal her upper thighs. As was now normal, she wore no knickers.

Beep!

Lift up your skirt and uncover your arse.

Oh my, she thought as she shifted the hem of the dress up high until it gathered under her bosom. Another message arrived almost immediately.

Pick up the ruler.

What ruler, thought Casey and peering around her desk, she found one under a pile of papers. The long wooden ruler with the notches she had scratched onto the surface. She held it in her hand, waiting for Rob to arrive.

Beep!

Spank that arse hard.

Maddie's Intimate
Authors Corner

Let's get to know Jaye Peaches a bit better in the Authors Corner today.  Oh Boy!!!

MT:  Jaye, this is the first time we've chatted and I have so many burning questions.  Some are serious, but don't worry, I have some fun stuff, too.   Q#1:   How much of your books are realistic or based on your own experiences?

JP:  I don't generally write about realistic scenarios, nor do I base what I write on my own lifestyle, which isn't DD or anything 24/7.  I like the concept of fantasy and escapism, something that takes the reader away from the realities of life.  My BDSM books have a more thrilling element, in that there is often a little mystery to be solved.  Taught to Serve is a series of lessons which eventually lead to romance and love for the main characters.  Spanking books to me are all about secret lives - that is the realism, because most spankos don't come out to the vanilla world.  The only true life experience comes from the first chapter, which is about service.  MY grandmother would serve tea in a traditional English way, a legacy of her days as a domestic servant in a great house during the 1920's.  She continued to have that service mind-set until she passed away, something I wish I could emulate.

MT:  How same/different are you from your main character in Taught to Serve?

JP:  I don't write myself into my characters.  Maybe they reflect bits of my personality, although if anything, Casey is the opposite of me.  I'm not that disorganized or unfocused!  In my other books, there are character traits I identify with to a degree, hidden underneath, but I don't think 'oh, that is so like me' and then write it down.

MT:  Is there a message in Taught to Serve that you want readers to grasp?

JP:  That sounds very deep!

MT:  <laughing> I did say some of the questions were serious...

JP:  Spanking comes in all varieties - the erotic kind, the playful tease through to discipline and punishment.  Taught to Serve happens to be about all of these and an added dash of romance, hopefully something for everyone.  To some extent, any relationship with TTWD (That Thing We Do) is all about choosing what is best for you and your partner and making it work.

MT:  I Internet stalked you to prep for this interview and see that your books hit amazon in 2013.  Having recently taken the plunge, what advice would you give to aspiring writers?

JP:  Writing should be enjoyable, not a chore.  Don't begrudge yourself the bad days when nothing gets written.  Keep a note pad and pen about you all the time.  You never know when those words might strike.

MT:  Excellent idea about the pad and paper, Jaye.  I find ideas strike while I'm driving, not ideal for writing, so I have recently started recording my ideas.  If you pass me on the road I am not talking to myself or singing, I'm working. haha

Okay, now for the fun stuff...

If you could be a tree, what kind would you be?  HA... Just kidding, but here are a few quickies to help us get to know you better.

What is the trait/characteristic you find most appealing about your husband?

JP:  Humour.  Cliché maybe, but we are at our happiest when we're laughing together.

MT:  Does your husband read your work?

JP:  He hasn't read my books.  He has read a few short stories.  He's not a big fiction reader of any genre-his idea of relaxing is reading a computing manual.

MT:  Spanking:  OTK or different position?

JP:  Stretched out, rather than bent over

MT:   Worst spanking memory

JP:  The night the crop broke, then the paddle...

MT:  Yowza, he really wore you out.  How about your best spanking memory?

JP:  Probably the ones where I remember little... I'm not all there, but someplace else

MT:  Favorite après-spanking activity?

JP:  That's probably not for repeating.  :)

MT:  Last question, what is your biggest guilty pleasure, for which you are willing to risk a spanking...

JP:  CHOCOLATE... I'm supposed to share in his dieting.

MT:  Ah, the decadent delight that we would risk almost anything for.  Thanks for stopping in and playing along, Jaye.  It's been fun.  I wish you great success.

Attention! Wicked Wanton Wednesday Enlists Dinah McLeod and Something HOT!

Welcome to Wicked Wanton Wednesday.  My guest author today is the wonderful Dinah McLeod.  Dinah is a multi-published author of romance and spanking fiction with a keen personal insight into domestic discipline which shines through brilliantly in her work.

I have gotten to be good friends over the course of the past year with many late night FB chats, several beta reads and two boxed sets together.  It's been fun!

I thought I would test out my new authors corner interview format with her and she graciously complied.  Stayed tuned after the promo of her newest DD/spanking romance,  Sir, Yes Sir.

Ah, a military hero... <sigh>

Big, strong, handsome and ripped.  Works for me!  No wonder a man in uniform makes me melt.

Today, in the authors spotlight:

Sir, Yes Sir
By Dinah McLeod

 The Blurb:
Shelby Davies has been the perfect Army wife for almost two decades. When her husband, Dean, decides to retire early it throws their world into chaos. Suddenly, she is the one supporting the family financially and every day she wonders where her take-charge solider went to.
Dean can see the pain in his wife’s eyes every time he looks at her. He knows he’s the cause of it, which is why he can’t ever tell her what really happened. He’s afraid of how she’ll look at him once she knows.
Can they find a way to salvage their marriage out of the wreckage of broken dreams?

Excerpt:

He was slamming cabinets and I winced every time I heard one bang shut. When I heard his muttered curse I jumped to my feet and hovered outside the door. “Honey?”
“I’m fine,” he grumbled, sounding anything but. “Go back to whatever you were doing.”
“I’m going to take Morgan to school in a little bit, just—are you OK?” It was a loaded question these days, but I asked it anyway.
“Fine!” he snapped at me, poking his head out the door.
He was scowling at me, an expression that I feared might soon become permanent; it had been months since I’d seen him smile. I took in his snapping gray eyes, his dark blond hair dripping wet and spiked on top. Come to think of it, he hadn’t had a haircut in a while, either. “Is something wrong?”
“It’s this damn shower! It only has two settings—freezing cold and burning hot!”
I tried to look sympathetic, but his constant stream of complaints had begun to wear me down. “I’m sorry, honey. Maybe in a few months we can afford a—”
Dean waved an irritated hand at me and went back into the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him. It was what he did these days when the subject of money came up. With a sigh, I shook my head at the closed door before reaching up to push my chestnut bangs off my forehead.
Dean and I had married young; in the last eighteen years we’d grown up together and had weathered just about everything a couple could go through. Or so I’d thought. For years, he had been the person I told everything to. The first few years of our marriage, we used to play a game at bedtime. Every night we’d lay facing each other, trading secrets back and forth in hushed voices. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Do you believe in reincarnation?
I’d thought I knew everything there was to know about Dean, but he had been giving me cause to wonder. He had been so moody and grouchy, so completely not the Dean that I knew that I had to question my earlier assessment. Of course he had cause to be upset. I knew it and so did he—boy, did he! I knew that he was having a tough time, but he kept shutting me out, and I didn’t know how to get in again. It felt like he had locked himself in a secret clubhouse with a “No Girls Allowed” sign on the door and I didn’t know the password. I’d never had this problem before and I was at a loss. What did you do when the person who told you everything could barely say good morning anymore?

Today's Special Feature:
An Interview with Dinah McLeod

MT:  It's great to have you on my blog again Dinah.  Your Old Fashioned Husband's series for Blushing Books is really great.   I find your books quite moving and intensely emotional.  How much of your books are realistic?

Dinah:  Aw, thanks, Maddie! That means a lot coming from you. I didn’t start doing it intentionally, but in each of my books there is something hiding within that is a direct personal experience. Now that’s kind of my signature, even if I’m the only one who knows it. In a way, for this book, I was imagining what my life might have looked like if my husband had stayed in the military.

MT:  How same/different are you from Shelby, your main character?

Dinah: I think I’d be friends with Shelby, but I’d be envious of how strong she is. She supports her family when her husband is having difficulty doing it and she “soldiers” (so to speak) everything like a pro. I am not that patient and loving, though I wish I was.

MT:  We have a couple of things in common Dinah, not the least being our interest in similar kind of men.  Funny that our hubby's both have the same first name.  LOL.  In Sir, Yes Sir, Dean's character is certainly HOT, but he has a lot of emotional baggage, understandably so.  What is the trait or characteristic you find most appealing about your own husband?

Dinah:  His sense of humor! And his sexy….never mid. I’m not telling! Anyway, we both think we’re funny, which is double-funny to other people because I don’t always think his jokes are funny and vice versa. So, whatever audience is lucky enough to have us is usually rolling on the floor because we’re goofing up together but each of thinking we’re the best stand up. J

MT: Does he read your work?

Dinah: He has, if I ask him, but frankly, he prefers not to. It used to really bug me. Like, how can I get anyone to read my books if my own husband won’t? And again, he will, but I have to ask and I usually have to remind him. He likes to read fantasy and in a large capacity what I write is more real life than what he likes. Especially this book—he has too many “what ifs” from his former military days, he didn’t want to read a book of a character that was more or less based on him.

However, that said, he is my absolute best sounding board. Sometimes he’ll even suggest scenes and those end up being my best ones. But this is also where our differences come out, because honestly, he thought it would be a great idea to write about multi-generational spanking and seriously, that conversation got awkward. But again, I don’t always think he’s funny, so it was lost on me!

MT:  Last question...  What is your biggest guilty pleasure, for which you are willing to risk a spanking.

Dinah:  OK, my answer is going to be boring here, because since doing domestic discipline, I decided that absolutely nothing is worth getting a spanking for—for me, anyway. Not because they’re too hard to take –though, some of them, OUCH!—but because I don’t like disappointing him.

However, my guilty pleasure which he doesn’t entirely approve is my obsession with Pretty Little Liars. (The show, not the books. Been there, done that.) He doesn’t approve because since we don’t have cable I have to get them on Amazon at 1.99 an episode. Yikes! But I reward myself with one every now and then, don’t worry. ;)

MT:  Hm...  Interesting, risking a spanking over Pretty Little Liars.  I think there is some irony here, especially if there is a cover up happening to get your fix.  LOL

Great answers Dinah!  Thanks for being the first to try out my new format.  What do you think readers?  I love learning little tidbits of personal information about authors.  Gives me a little insight into where they are coming from.

Drop by again next week when my guest will be Jaye Peaches.  I am acquainted with Jaye only through FB so I am looking forward to finding out what makes her tick.  See you all next week!

My little eight lines...

He opened the door wide and a waft of cool air swept over her.  It was accompanied by the overwhelming scent of leather and beeswax.  There was also a musky smell of sweat and other erotic aromas, which she surprisingly didn’t find at all unpleasant.

Her eyes connected with Master T’s in wonder.  The music, the décor, even the conservatively dressed young woman working behind the reception counter was all rather anticlimactic.

“Expecting naked women writhing to Nine Inch Nails in the lobby?”

“Honestly?  Yes.”

“Don’t be disappointed--that’ll come later when The Club is in full swing.”  He gave her an outrageous wink and pulled her farther inside with a chuckle.

With Hearts Aflame Authors Survey. And the Winner is...

Finally, I am ready to reveal the results of the With Hearts Aflame authors survey.  It was a lot of fun and I thank everyone who participated.

Favorite Cover:  Master My Love  37%
                             Lovely Little Liar  21%

Hottest Hero:     Master Eric from Master My Love  45%
Vin from Lovely Little Liar  30%

Best Heroine:    Valerie from Master My Love  31%
                            Sinclair from Sweet Sinclair   27%

Most Likely to Push the Envelope:  Maren Smith with a whopping 63%.

How can we compete with the exhilarating, titillating, scintillating and oft times scandalous  Masters of the Castle.  Although I did try with a ride on the carousel and Dinah did with her first BDSM scene, but we must bow to the master.  Or should I say Mistress Maren?  <giggle>

Yo Mama--Most Nurturing and Motherly of the Group:  Another close one.

Maren Smith:  32%
Dinah McLeod  29%

Although all of these lovely ladies are very nurturing, I found that Patty was our cheerleader, time keeper and task master when it came to deadlines for blog posts and submitting blurbs and excerpts.   I think she may have evening scolded a few of us procrastinators, sweetly and kindly of course.

Cover Diva:  Maddie Taylor 48%

Yes, it was me and I did send it back 4 times for revision.  But, it was worth the effort because of the positive feedback.  I had a picture in mind for Master Eric and Valerie and I just wouldn't settle for less.  I think the finished product is sexy and Eric's hand wrap around Val's pearls makes me all tingly inside every time I look at it ~sigh~

Most Punctual:  Patty Devlin 24%

This was another toss up and until late this evening there was a three way tie.  Unfortunately, readers, your streak ends here.  It was actually Robin Smith who beat us all into submission, with the deadline, of course.  Patty was a close second.  It's possible she could have been first, but a last minute revision caused a delay but was well worth the extra effort.  So voters, you were close, but no cigar.

Biggest Insomniac:  Dinah McLeod with 51% of the vote was the hands down winner.

Have you slept since the release date Dinah?  I doubt it, I think I saw she had another new release today.  The woman is a dynamo!

Most Likely To Exceed:  Maren Smith 63%

We can't fool you.  Indeed, Maren exceeded our target word count for the novellas with >43,000 words in Sweet Sinclair.  Well above the 28K limit we had set.  Of course, Patty, Dinah and Maddie also were non-compliant.  So you lucky readers got bonus chapters.  Yippee!

Coffee Whore...  The DISHONOR goes to Patty Devlin 41%

I do have to give honorable mention to Maren and Robin who admittedly pulled some all-nighters at the end and I heard them talking about more pots (note plural) of coffee.  Thanks for being a good sport Patty, we had a lot of fun with her on this category, at least I did.

There you have it.  That was a blast and I thank all of you who participated.

Now for what you have really been waiting for.

Drum roll please...

The $10 Amazon gift card winner is

Alyssa Hart.

Congratulations Alyssa.
