A Dom Dangerous to her Peace of Mind on WIP It Up Wednesday

It’s been a busy few months for me:

I think I'll have to check in somewhere in August to recover!  And have carpal tunnel surgery, just kidding, thank goodness.  

During that time and all the frenzied pimping and promoting, I missed a stop on the WIP It Up Wednesday Blog Hop for Arturo and Mari, in French Kiss.  So, I thought I’d circle back around and share today, before I harken back to the old west with my Red Petticoat J

French Kiss, is the latest in my Decadence Nights series.  It’s packed with all the action, intrigue, suspense, hot doms, sassy subs and BDSM club action you’d expect from my bestselling original series, Club Decadence.

In this scene, Mari agrees to go upstairs to a theme room for the first time, having only played in the main club room since joining almost a year ago.  Usually she chooses easy doms who she can trust not to test her limits, which are many.  She quickly finds Master Arturo is none of those things and is in fact dangerous, to her peace of mind and especially her carefully guarded heart.

 He lowered his mouth, but at the last moment she turned her face away and murmured, “Please, sir, I prefer not to kiss on the mouth; it’s too intimate.”

Shocked, he raised his head—what the fuck? As he pulled her face around, he searched her troubled blue eyes and a range of emotions flickered through him, first anger, then annoyance, taking serious offense, but when he looked deeper and saw the shadow in her eyes, he remembered her loss and from what Master Dex had said, her ongoing distress.

“It’s to be cold and impersonal then, that’s how you want it?”

“Not cold, sir.”

With a faint smile, he searched her face for a moment before inclining his head and concluding, “So at odds with yourself, aren’t you?” He turned her to face the cross, and ordered, “Strip off everything, Mari, I am anxious to get started.”
