Claiming Coral on #SatSpanks

I’m back on #SatSpanks with more of Claiming Coral and The Red Petticoat Saloon.  If you haven’t succumbed to the temptation of this unique series, your missing something. Danger, suspense, intrigue, romance, a healthy dose of spanking, and lots of steamy sex to be specific.  And they’re all penned by some of your favorite USA Today and international bestselling authors.

So what are you waiting for?

One of the rules of the house is that no gem is to allowed out after dark without an escort.  Coral, in an attempt to avoid Bo, breaks that rule.  But he finds her on a grassy hill outside of town and swiftly delivers his own brand of discipline.  Enjoy!

Claiming Coral
by Maddie Taylor

Here’s this week’s spanky snippet:

Her voice broke on the last two words and must have declared her sincerity, because he stopped. His hand rubbed gently across the skin he had just heated. She imagined steam rising from her scorching backside in contrast to the cooler night air. It felt hot enough to fry eggs on.

“I’m going to hold you to your vow, Coral. If I find that you don’t, you’ll get a taste of my belt.”

“Why?”

His hand tightened, squeezing her tender flesh. “Because even if the feelings are not returned, I care what happens to you.”

Blurb:

Balking at pre-arranged marriage number four to a man older than her father, Carissa Fulwiler leaves New York City humiliated and alone, but determined to take her future into her own hands. She travels to California to begin a quiet life on the western frontier as a mail-order-bride to a young man of her own choosing. But fate has never been kind to her and she arrives in Culpepper Cove to find her would-be husband dead from a freak accident, leaving her with little money, no job, and no place to live. With few options, Carissa ends up as Coral, the newest Gem at the Red Petticoat Saloon.

Bo Magnusson left his troubled past behind long ago and traveled west. Now that he’s established as the town’s blacksmith and owner of the busy livery stable, he's ready to settle down and begin a family. One day, a down on her luck lovely redhead arriving by stage catches his eye.    She is obviously a lady and needs a man to protect her, especially when her dire straits force her to take a job dancing with lonely prospectors at the local saloon. This doesn't sit well with him and he pursues her only to be politely, but flatly, rejected. But Bo is stubborn, and he won’t give up trying until his ring is on her finger and she bears his name, even if the convincing means that she’s sporting a bright red bottom while he rekindles her heart and keeps her safe.

Having at last won the stubborn young widow's hand, Bo and Coral settle into their new life together, but their pasts come calling one day when her father's man comes to town ready to drag Coral back to New York by whatever means possible. Tempers rise and secrets are revealed, but when the dust settles, will Bo and Coral still be together, or will the treachery and vindictiveness of those dead set against their love tear them apart?

Author Bio:

A USA Today bestselling author, Maddie is also a lifelong reader. She became a romance junkie as a teen with her first romance novel, The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwiss. From then on, she was hooked, and gobbled up everything she could get her hands on, whether contemporary, historical, paranormal or sci-fi. If there was romance to be found between a strong alpha male, and a sassy, adventurous and ofttimes defiant yet loving woman Maddie was all over it. As an author, she stays true to those themes writing steamy erotic romance, with a side of kink, and adding elements of intrigue, danger and suspense to her plots.

Maddie started writing as a hobby. Her stories stayed private while she raised a family and worked full time as a registered nurse. It wasn’t until 2012 that she decided to take the plunge and submit her first book for publication: Captain My Captain. She found acceptance at Blushing Books and published an impressive twelve novels the first year.

She’s still juggling writing with her day job and you’ll find her working at her laptop into the wee hours of the night, scribbling plot ideas onto the notebook she always keeps handy, and working out the details of a scene while floating around in her pool with a lemon drop in hand. Don’t be surprised if you see her pulling over on the side of the road to capture an idea for a scene on paper, because as Maddie says, her best ideas always come when there isn’t a pen in a five-mile radius.
